What data we process

freetestnet.com is a tool for diagnosing internet connection quality. During tests we process technical data such as: download and upload speed, ping, jitter, packet loss, IP address, ISP name and approximate location (city) derived from the IP address.

If you create an account, we store your email, name and test history so you can view results, charts and export reports.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze traffic and improve the service. It collects anonymous data about how the site is used (page views, started tests, events). This data is processed by Google LLC under its privacy policy.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 — statistics are collected only after you accept cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics does not store analytics data.

Cookies and consent

We use essential cookies to run the site and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that require your consent. You can change your decision at any time.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data. You can delete your account and test history at any time.

Technical test data is used in aggregated form (e.g. internet map, ISP ranking) and is not used to identify individual users.
